Plans and billing
Plans
Four ways to pay for GPU time, what each one promises, and how to pick.
Every price is per B200 GPU hour, in USD. A GPU hour includes the CPU cores, memory and scratch that come with that GPU, and all traffic inside the forge.
| Plan | USD per GPU hour | Commitment | Can be stopped by us |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strike | 3.79 | None | No |
| Hour bank | 3.09 | Prepaid blocks of 1,000 h | No |
| Anvil | 2.89 | A whole node, 16,640 USD a month | No |
| Ember | 1.39 | None | Yes, with 30 s notice |
Strike
Pay as you go. Billed per second from container start to container exit, with a 60 second minimum per job. Strike jobs queue first in, first out with hour bank jobs, and are never preempted.
Hour bank
Prepaid hours at 3.09. Same speed and priority as Strike, a lower rate for knowing your volume up front. Blocks last 120 days. See Hour banks.
Anvil
A whole node for a month or more. Jobs on it start at once and nobody else is scheduled there. See Anvils.
Ember
Runs on idle GPUs at 1.39 and gives them back with 30 seconds of notice. See Ember jobs.
How to pick
| If your work is | Use |
|---|---|
| Bursty, unpredictable, starting today | Strike |
| Steady, a few hundred GPU hours a month or more | Hour bank |
| One long run or an endpoint that must never queue | Anvil |
| Interruptible and checkpointed | Ember |
Storage and traffic
2 TB of shared storage per team is included, then 0.06 USD per GB per month. Egress is free to 5 TB a month, then 0.015 USD per GB. Ingress is free.
Price changes
At most once a month, announced in the heat ledger a month ahead. Bank blocks and Anvil terms keep the price they were bought at.
